Bad Film Poster

2. The movie poster is easy to read but the tag line is small a and hard to read.

4. Only one actor is shown but there is nothing to indicate any of the other actors.

8. The main character is slightly off centre with the book central which does attract you to look at the book and main character.

10. The slogan on the poster is quite small and doesnt give much away abiut the film. It also isent very catchy.

14. I dont think this poster is persausive because there isnt much important information on it about dates, actors or directors.

2.  The movie title is prominently featured as well as the darkness. The text is big and red against a dark background making it stand out.

4. The main character of the film who  the film revolves around. 
5. What is the design of the movie poster? Does it accurately reflect the mood and tone of the film?
6. The design of the poster does reflect the dark twisted mood of the film.
7. What other images are included? What do you notice about the framing of the images?
8. The images included in this poster are the main parts of the story. They fit with the theme of the film. The pictures have been fit together so that the image of the island and the main character are all centered.

2. The text shown on the poster  is the credits and the month in which its released. Also there is a tag line. It has the name of a famous actor which attracts fans of the actor.

5. I think this movie poster is persausive as it is dark and misterious which makes you want to see it.

Camera Obscura

1: Empty the contents of the Pringles tube out and cut 2 inches of the bottom half of the can off 2: Using a thumbtack make a small hole in the centre of the metal bottom side. 3:To make the screen, put the lid and a pice of tissue paper and secure in the chopped in half pringles tube. Tape the two ends of the tubetogeather with masking tape.  3:To keep the light out of the tube, wrap foil around the tube. Tape it up at the ends to ensure no light comes thro. 4:Put your hands round the tube to exclude any light and lookk out of a window or somewhere bright.

Muybridges Motion Studies.

On Monday we created our own version of Muybridges Motion Studies. We had to line four cameras up and take several pictures of our subjects walking in the path of our camera shot. Adil directed, Me, Jamie, Lewis and Aaron took the pictures of the subjects and Bryony captured us dojng the task.

Evaluation

1. What are you thoughts on the finished product:? (50 Words Min)

My thoughts on the finished photos are that they worked out quite well. I think they look like the originals, which is good. I think that some of my pictures could have been more thought out, as I had to make the I.T photos up as I went along.  On reflection I think that the photos went well.
2. Does it look how you originally planned? (50 Words Min)

Some of my photos do look like how I originally planned them to do. My media studies pictures are how I planned them. But my I.T photos don’t look like how I originally planned them. My common room pictures didn’t look how I imagined them but I think that there better that how I imagined.
3. What do you think about the qualities of your work? In Focus, Good bad light
etc? (50 Words Min)

The focus of my media photos is slightly out but I do think that it works quite well. I like it how one of the characters is more central and focused and the other one slightly out of focus. The light in the common room pictures is good because it looks like the light is coming in through the window.
4. Give your ideas about comments from others, e.g. audience, peers, tutors, client

I thought the comment that I received was really good. I was pleased because the comment picked up on the character trying to move the battery. Someone viewed my photos and commented on the composition of the IT picture and the lens-cleaning photo. She said that they were well thought out and had a good composition.

This task is to Print, Frame/mount you pictures in lesson for and exhibition. To plan for this exhibition you will need as a class to think about:

· Where to hold the exhibition
The exhibition will be held in T42.

· How it might look
I think that the pictures should be mounted on the wall or hanging from the celing using fish wires. 

· Who to invite 
 People from around the college.

· Titles for the Photos
Moving the battery, 

· Health and Safety
Make sure the wire isnt too long so that people dont walk into the pictures. Make sure the number of people in the room is kept to a safe amount.

You will need to get photos of your work being exhibited during the exhibition. These Photos will need to go onto your blog.
